I was in a temple-like place with a circular well and a wooden paddock or structure to enter the water. There were plenty of people in the place and they were baptized. They all were standing in line and waiting to enter the water. My youngest brother and my father were there too. My father was already in the water swimming and my brother did a bomb jump. I felt judgmental since this was not appropriate in a holy temple. At some point I entered the water and started swimming. It was quite crowded and I was trying to keep distance from other swimmers. At some point a random person started touching me and I started pushing his hands down and away from me. He kept insisting and I became annoyed, continuing the game/interaction. At some point I felt how a hand was holding mine and started pulling me down. I started fighting back against this hand/force in order to resurface. When reaching a low point, I managed to see the face of the person who was dragging me down. It was a child-like version of jesus with a beard and the crown of thorns, displaying a devilish smile. Without much struggle, after a very short moment I managed to break free and resurface, catching my breath again. Then a stranger mentioned something related to a little jesus, who lives in the waters and fools around with people.
Dreams are complex and often contain symbols and elements from our waking life and subconscious mind. Here's an interpretation of your dream:
Temple and Water: Temples often symbolize spirituality, sacredness, or a place of refuge. Water is a powerful symbol in dreams, representing emotions, the subconscious mind, purification, or renewal. The circular well and the act of baptism suggest themes of spiritual cleansing, rebirth, and possibly a quest for deeper understanding or transformation.
Family Dynamics: The presence of your father and brother in the dream could be connected to family dynamics, relationships, or roles within your family. Your father's participation in the water might symbolize a deeper engagement with spirituality or change, while your brother's bomb jump could reflect youthful spontaneity, a challenge to traditional norms or a different approach to spirituality.
Judgment and Appropriateness: Feeling judgmental about your brother's actions suggests concerns about adhering to certain standards or traditions. It may reflect internal conflict about conforming to societal or familial expectations.
Crowded Swimming Experience: Encountering a crowd while swimming might signify feeling overwhelmed by emotions, or it could point to your need for personal space and boundaries.
Physical Interaction and Resistance: Being touched inappropriately and resisting signifies a struggle to maintain personal space and autonomy. It can indicate a real-life situation where you may feel your boundaries are being challenged or that you’re contending with unwanted influences.
Child-like Jesus with a Crown of Thorns: This is a particularly striking image. Jesus typically symbolizes divinity, sacrifice, or a moral compass, while the child-like depiction with a devilish smile suggests a contradiction or a subversion of these traits. It could symbolize doubts or conflicts in your faith, belief system, or moral values. The crown of thorns hints at suffering and redemption, suggesting that you may be grappling with complex feelings about these themes.
Resurfacing and Breathing: Your ability to break free and surfacing for air suggests resilience, overcoming challenges, or a spiritual or emotional awakening. It means that despite struggles, you have the capacity to restore balance and clarity in your life.
The Stranger's Comment: The mention of a "little Jesus" playing in the water might hint at the duality or mischievousness inherent in spiritual journeys, reflecting unexpected challenges or lessons within personal growth.
Overall, this dream seems to explore themes of spiritual search, family roles, boundaries, internal fears or conflicts, and the capacity to overcome adversity and confusion. It encourages reflection on your spiritual beliefs, personal boundaries, and how you navigate challenges and relationships in your waking life.
